Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. This is a short post, just to let you know what's going on with Wild Thing.
She woke me a little more than a week ago, saying she couldn't catch her breath. It took a long 9 seconds for me to dial 911 and get the parmedics here.
Off to the hospital where they inserted various tubes and lines into her and gave her a diuritic. Seems she had water in her lungs and they had to get it out. She spent three days in ICU (they ran out of beds in the heart ward) and then three more days in that heart area.
Clicking the header will kinda show you how I am feeling now.
Now, I'm going to try to make the rounds.

That's wonderful news...seems there's a lot of that going around this week!
See ya.
I am so glad Wild Thing is home again. I sure missed your posts and was starting to worry.Give my best Wild Thing and let her know she and you are in my prayers.
Oh bless ya both and thanks for the update. So good to see that the Cat came back.
Oh, Cat! My hopes, thoughts, and prayers are with you and Wild Thing. I hope she's feeling much better now that she's home.
Thank you Mushy, Moose, Lin and Buck.
She's doing well and thank heavens and all your prayers for that.
Fingers crossed that the recovery is rapid.
happy for you, enjoy it as much as you can, and don't forget everyday we and those we love wake up is a blessing....!!
Oh my, scary times! I'm so glad to hear all will be fine in the end. Give Wild Thing a big hug from me, I know you'll look after her well. x
ps. I'm back.
Thank you David. My angel is progressing rapidly (even if she claims she "wants a cigarette".) She quit when she had the attack.
Evatitude, I am remembering that every single day. It was darn scary for me.
Shrinky, I see you're back with a name change. Welcome. We've missed you. Thanks for your good thoughts.
cat ~ I was so happy to see your post and find that even though you went through another scary time, your angel is getting better. You have been in my prayers. :)
Thank you Towanda. Just trying to get the rest of the household to return to its serene position in the world. Well, except for the idiots in charge of our country, that is.
Neighbors have been great. They want to feed her, but she's on a restricted diet and I feel like an ogre saying "no" to certain foods.
Looks like I popped into you blog at a time that's pretty intense for you.
Sending good vibes to you and your Wild Thing...
Thank you san. Things will be getting back to what we laughingly refer as "normal" pretty quickly now.
