IS ARIZONA THE REAL U.S.A?

Dubya has a problem understand why this baby is crying. Of course, the President has a problem understanding many things. Mr. President, the baby is crying because he can't see the American dream coming true for him. There might not be any jobs for him when he grows up and he'll have to be humiliated by taking alms from the millionaires.
.
Arizona and its legislators seem to understand this major problem in America and are showing the other 49 states what to do about it.
They have taken action to stop supplying jobs and money. And free medical care. And free schools. And free housing. And free food. And all the other freebies. Not for citizens, but for those of the illegal invasion.
The illegal aliens who think they have some right to the labor and actions Americans have taken to secure their own lives have come a cropper. The illegals, as a group, could care less about the Americans who died protecting the U.S. and yes, Mexico too. (Mexico did not send troops to fight in either of the World Wars, nor Korea, nor Nam nor any of the later wars where Americans fought and died.)
Arizona is saying, in effect, you people who seem to believe that you have more rights than other people in other countries to come into America are wrong. Your "rights" can be summed up in one word: None. Or in your language: Nada. You have no rights in this country. You are persona non grata. Go back to your country, start an economic revolution there, apply to legally come to America and when it is your turn you will be welcomed with open arms. Until then, get it through your heads. You are not wanted here.
There's a continuation of this when you click the header. But there is so much there I gave up after a while.

I had not heard of Arizona's employer sanction law before this.
HOORAY for Arizona .... I hope New Mexico and the other border and southwestern states will pass laws exactly like this one(and then enforce them)! BRAVO

Good for Arizona. What a great idea.

This is...to put it mildly... one of the most controversial and emotional issues of our time. I'm one of those people who railed against massive deportations and all the ugliness that would entail. OTOH, I'm ALL for enforcing existing laws... to the LETTER... and strengthening our borders.

Arizona has the right idea, but I don't look for California to enact similar legislation in the near future, if ever. And, as you know, it's just a hop, skip, and a jump from Phoenix, Tucson, et al, to Kalli-forhn-ee-ya. Or New Mexico, for that matter. The mass migration of illegals has begun, as we speak.

Towanda, I'm with you on that. But considering our governator's heritage and loyalties only to himself, I think he'd fight that law here. But I'm still suggesting it to my representatives in the state.

Moose, I applauded them, too.

Buck, I don't consider this "one of the most controversial and emotional issues of our time."
To me, it is a matter of our laws and the successfully system designed to help people of ALL nations enter this country legally.
And the ugliness and don't give a damn attitude of those who choose to violate our laws while not having any rights given them to them by the people of the United States.
I do NOT agree with the "give them anything they want" attitude just because they have decided to willfully violate the law.
We're engaged in shooting wars in this country now because of the ease with which Mexican drug smugglers violate our laws.

I may drive the governor and my state legislators nuts when I get there...with my suggestions on how to improve things. LOL

Um, Towanda, in New Mexico our politicians are not known for subtlety. A "suggestion" is easily ignored. A 34 oz. baseball bat gets respect and attention.
For what it's worth, I have my state reps, governator and offices phone, email and mailing addresses on rolodex. (Same goes for the Feds.)
Go get 'em.

Most of the illegals in this state already have homes in Mexico. They send money they earn here, working for minimum wage back to Mexico. I still say if we as a nation were able to earn a good wage across the board, there would be no jobs for illegals to begin with. But, then, raising the minimum wage creates more problems, it seems. Back to square one.

Just Me, we seem to be getting more and more illegals who feel they have a right to live here without any further effort on their part. There are some (like our governator, I suspect) who send money to relatives in Mexico, but most just free run here without waiting for legality.

For crying out loud, Fluffer. Don't stop illegals from going into USA. If they can't get in there they will row up to Canada and get in here.

Babzy, you haven't apparently heard about our government's plan to create a superhighway from Mexico to Canada. No joke. It was mentioned a year or two in Congressional reports.
So learn Spanglish?
