My ex-father-in-law was a Marine who fought at the Chosin Reservoir. Those guys have an organization called "The Chosin Few," and members of that org came from all over Michigan and the Mid-West for his funeral. You cannot begin to imagine the stories I heard from those guys over the course of two days, including the fact they brought their dead out with them on the long retreat. It's men like those I remember on Memorial Day. With MUCH gratitude and admiration.
