ENJOY YOURSELVES

http://www.pagetutor.com/idiot/idiot.html http://www.mamarocks.com/rules_of_chocolate.htm Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves. -- William Pitt, 1783

I know I'm in the wrong comment section here, but it's the only way I can leave my tuppence worth in about the post above this, re: the pet food scam.

I too, am concerned at the junk I'm forever being encouraged to shovel down our pets' throats. I love them as children. I do not feed my kids from MacDonalds, for sound reason. Likewise, it is actually CHEAPER, as well as far healthier, to feed my dog and two cats a fresh mix of offal and (a small mix of) cereal. Thank you for pointing out this scandal, few question the "experts", do they?

(p.s. I have to fess up here, for his sins, my hubby is also in advertising.. please don't tell anyone.)

Carol, I have blonde moments all the time. No problem. But you have an edge that is getting rarer and rarer in America. You have real butcher shops, not the supermarket kind where everything is shrink wrapped, weighed and priced.
As for your hubby, he's likely enjoying his work and he's certainly bringing home some decent dough.
At one time, "advertising" was considered a way to tell people about your new shop, a new improvment in your product or just where you were located. I can't help but feel telly's shouting ads have mislaid that purpose somehow.
