MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL

You'll have to click on the picture to read the explanation. (I'm still trying to learn how to use my photo editing thingee.)

In any case, this cat understands the Spirit of Giving pretty darn well.

I have a couple of other gifts also:

In Florida, an atheist became incensed over the preparation of Easter and Passover holidays. He decided to contact his lawyer about the discrimination inflicted on atheists by the constant celebrations afforded to Christians and Jews with all their holidays while atheists had no holiday to celebrate.

The case was brought before a wise judge. After listening to the long passionate presentation by the lawyer, the Judge banged his gavel and declared "Case dismissed!

"The lawyer immediately stood and objected to the ruling and said, "Your honor, how can you possibly dismiss this case? The Christians have Christmas, Easter and many other observances. Jews have Passover, Yom Kippur and Hanukkah...yet my client and all other atheists have no such holiday!"

The judge leaned forward in his chair and simply said, "Obviously your client is too confused to even know about, much less celebrate his own atheists' holiday!"

The lawyer pompously said, "Your Honor, we are unaware of any such holiday for atheists. Just when might that holiday be, your Honor?"

The judge said, "Well it comes every year on exactly the same date---April 1st!

Merry Christmas to you my friend!
Hope it is a blessed one, filled with love and joy.
I say the atheists have every other day of the year to celebrate whatever they want. But then, I've never been PC.

Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Yesbut.
Our Christmas turned out great. We even got Old Scrooge to show up and be nice to everyone. (I think the Black Label got him in the mood.)

Tomcat we had [purrty good show here. The cats loved their presents too.
As for leaving catnip out for you, I'm afraid it wouldn't last. Not with Schotzy and Lil Bit roaming around.

Rachelle, you've done me in with that one. "PC"?
Hope you had a good one.

Atavist, it's the day after and we're getting our heads screwed on again. Not sure if we should, but there you are. And Football is coming back now.

Buck, I think he's amazing too. And he seems to be making money from what started as a free activity. Good for him.
I hope your Christmas was peaceful and fun, too.

Okay, Cat, this is just my curious cat side wanting to clarify things here; you told Atavist "it's the day after and we're getting our heads screwed on again." Okay, stay with me here now ... does that mean that you two spent Christmas screwing your heads off? Not that it isn't a bad way to spend Christmas, mind you, I just needed some clarification is all.

Funny, funny Lin.
I hardly never, ever discuss that part of my personal life on Google. They keep records, you know. I think I might google you.
And allow me to say that we had a very, er, um, enjoyable holiday. Now tell me about your Christmas?

TomCat said...

Well, as long as some cat got it.
