CAN YOU ANSWER MY QUESTION?

I've been told that if one has a question one should ask people he/she respects for an answer. So herewith some questions:
Not that I regularly browse these kinds of Web sites but the U.S. Department of State Travel Advisory Web site actually has some handy information. For example the countries for which Americans have visa requirements. Among other things, they publish a list of countries with "travel warnings" for Americans. Those countries currently are: Afghanistan Algeria Chad Colombia Congo East Timor Eritrea Indonesia Iran Iraq Israel Kenya Lebanon Nepal Nigeria Pakistan Philippines Saudi Arabia Somalia Sudan Syria Uzbekistan Yemen France (just kidding)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2006: Pakistan 12/05/2006
Syria 11/13/2006
Sudan 10/05/2006
Somalia 06/05/2006
My question? How come so many more than in 2006?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CAT RULES
* Always give generously. A small bird or rodent left on the bed tells them, I care.
* Climb your way to the top. That's why the drapes are there.
* Curiosity never killed anything except maybe a few hours.
* Find your place in the sun. Especially if it happens to be on that nice pile of warm, clean laundry.
* If you're not receiving enough attention, try knocking over several expensive antique lamps.
* Life is hard, then you nap.
* Make your mark in the world. Or at least spray in each corner.
* Never sleep alone when you can sleep on someone's face.
* Variety is the spice of life. One day ignore people, the next day annoy them.
* When in doubt, cop an attitude.
* Never give a human an even break
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My question? Has your cat obeyed all the rules?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ever wonder what happens when you leave your computer on overnight? Does it just sit idle until the screen saver kicks in?That's what you want to believe. But now MASO Digital Studio has captured proof of the secret life of your desktop icons in a hilarious Flash clip. View the animation
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My question? Why haven't you taken better care of your computer?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Last question: Moose, have you clicked on the header?

Hey Cat: Here are the answers: More terrorists in more countries, also an election next year. Don't have cats. My computer has been bad and I may put it up for adoption, and St. John's Boys School is not far from where I live. so yes, I have read the header.
Now , a question for you. Did you know I was this smart? LOL

Yes, the kitty boys have followed all those rules except that spraying thing. THAT is a good thing for them to fall short on however. Our one absolutely most adored sprayer was killed by the white trash renters next door before we could bring him down here - not out of line with the rest of our remembrances of that state.

Yes our kitties seem to be fairly well informed of those rules.

Did you get my answers?

Sorry I took so long to get to the comments, moose. Don't hit me again, please?
Had to deal with docs and MVD and casino over the past few days. Everything came out well save the casino (I lie. Small win.)
Loved your answers.
I am well aware of your smarts, moose. Which is why I visit your site regularly.

lin, I'm sorry to hear about the cat incident in your former state. I hope everything is going to work out for y'all.
As for us, we try to remember the fun times we had with our departed cats. Seems to help.

Pope Terry, I think cats have a secret (unknown by mere humnans) method of communicating over vast distances and share ways and means to teach us poor humans how to get what they want.
If that sounds paranoid, remember: We have shared with cats for a lot of years.

My cats have invented a few new rules. Always place yourself between your owner and the computer monitor.

Always place yourself between your owner and the book they are reading.

I so wanted to visit Iran this year. Gosh, darn.

I didn't know you were that smart, Moose. hee hee

Cat, I'm all behind in my reading. I see lot's of writing about cats. I know you love them.

The cat(s) in your life are there to protect you. Petting your cat will de-stress you, calm you, and heal you.

If a strange cat visits you it always brings a message.

A friendly cat has come to tell you to listen to your gut feeling even if your own logic or someone else's says otherwise.

If an aggressive or unfriendly cat visits he brings a warning that you are or will be having trouble with a female.

Thank you Babzy. Good thoughts.
Somewhere I think I posted about the history of my long standing admiration for cats.
I have the feeling that moose's reply might be summed up in a "hmmmmph".
I've never had an aggressive cat visit me. Bossy, yes. Aggressive, no. I must be doing something right.

just me. That darn state department gettin' in the way of your fun? Do you suppose you could swim across?
I can relate to the book thing, seems that's a good place to lie down in.
And monitors are, apparently made for close up inspection, even if they don't have much smell.
