WILD THING AND THE SCARY TIME

What a time. But at least there's a smile up there now. Please permit me a digression from my usual themes, but there was a moment during this period that I almost lost it. Seriously. The light in my life was damn near extinguished. But she's back now. And healing very well, thank you. My Wild Thing suffered a heart attack about 2 am in the morning. It was scary. EMT's, firemen, ambulance drivers all over the place. At least they were reasonably silent. Or at least quiet. Off she went to the emergency room. My neighbor drove me to the hospital (kept me out of trouble, cause my world was collapsing and I probably would have run into or onto something). A little history here: Wild Thing has brought a style of living to me that most men would die to have. I have long recognized that she accepts my slightest suggestion as a wish she must make happen for me. I became very, very careful never to make asinine nor outrageous "wants" nor desires known since I discovered this. (And, yes, I treat her wishes the same way.) We are really two people who are as close as individuals can be. An example? Some years ago, while dining in a restaurant, a waitress noticed us holding hands. I guess she was surprised to see two old fogies doing this. She asked, innocently, "How long have you two been married?" Without missing a beat, I looked in Wild Things eyes and gave the only possible answer: "Not long enough." Now that I've given you a glance into our private lives, I hope it explains why her physical problem and lack of what I consider proper after care, caused me to stop blogging and reading your great blogs. The computer became a great doorstop for a number of days. But she's on the mend now and I''m damned glad. After all, there is no world without My Wild Thing. . And just for fun, click on the header.

Cat: I am so glad to see you back and hear that Wild Thing is okay. I was beginning ti wonder. Give her my best and i will say a prayer for her.
It is a rare and wonderful thing when we find our true soul-mates.
Take good care of her

Thank you Moose. I am doing my very best to care for my angel. (She keeps trying to take of me when she is the one needing help.) But I'm bigger and uglier so I should win this battle.

Ohhhh my! I am so glad this worked out okay and that she is still your Wild Thing in the here and now. Here I was worried about you but losing her would have been just as devastating. Thanks for this happy ending, I sure needed that this week! Give her a good hug and squeeze for me, too!

catmoves,

I have been worrying about you for days now, knowing that the silence on the blog was so unlike you.

I'm really happy to hear that Wild Thing made it through the crisis and is getting stronger. She is a lucky woman to have you at her side.

And...going through all this inspired you to tell us your beautiful love story, so things did indeed come out good.

My prayers are with you and your angel for continued good things in your life.

Oh Fluffer, I wondered where you went. Thank God your darling is okay now. you must keep after her to do all the right things to keep her around for a long time. In fact, it could be a family project. Walk walk walk, fruit and veggies, good sleep, and I've heard that sex is good for the heart, too.

Good for you Cat; Let her rest as much as she needs but do some walking also to build up her strength.

Towanda, I'm sorry about the not posting thing, but worrying and fussing (I quit smokin', too) over my angel takes it out of me. Thank you for your prayers.

Oh, Babzy, I like that last suggestion (and so does she). Big snicker. Thank you for your kindness.

Moose, he's already started the walking thing. She went shopping today (with a daughter and friend) and I couldn't have cared less how much she spent.
